Regina, Canada: ANGELIC opened as part of Photosensitive’s Cancer Connections Exhibit this week to lots of media coverage – both print (see below) and TV. Regina is the first city in ’09 the exhibit will show in as it travels Canada-wide until landing in our Nation’s Capital Spring 2010. The exhibit opened last year in Toronto.
I spoke with Photosensitive today. They told me Angelic looks ethereal in the exhibit. Nice. S W E E T .
We’re selling Angelic fine-art prints on our image archive website to help support cancer research. If you haven’t seen Angelic yet, take a look. It’s probably not what you’re expecting. If you’d like a one-of-a-kind piece of art for your wall, please consider purchasing a print. It’s for a great cause.
I’ll be photographing at two Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life events over the next two weeks:
Toronto Central
Friday June 12, 2009
Forest Hill Memorial Park
340 Chaplin Crescent
Scarborough
Friday June 19, 2009
Birchmount Stadium
93 Birchmount Rd.
Drop by and say Hello. I’ll capture an image of you.

A man hurrying through Regina’s Victoria Park glances at 500 black-and-white photos of people touched by cancer. He stops to look and read the accompanying stories.
He kneels on the grass and cries.
Such is the impact of Cancer Connections, a national photo exhibition that officially launches its 2009 tour in Regina today. It features the faces of young and old, known and unknown Canadians with a common foe: cancer.
Cassandra Fisher saw the exhibit being set up Monday, so she took a closer look Tuesday morning.
“This is inspirational,” she said. “All of these people are sharing their stories and some of them are still with us and they’re hopeful. I’ve had people in my family who have cancer and that’s all you can do — have hope.”
