Autumn in the Beaches, Toronto

Autumn and its colours are a lovely time for lifestyle photography. Perfect for engagement sessions or couples & families who’d like something special for themselves.

I love my neighbourhood. A few steps out my door, and there’s the boardwalk, sandy beaches and even a heritage building. Early mornings are great. Mist often rises off the lake, people are running or going for their early morning stroll, coffee in hand. It’s a little gem in contrast to busy city life, though I’m only a few minutes from downtown.

People are very busy this time of year. Kids off to school, the rush of work after summer’s end, with Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas not too far off.

Lifeguard Station Summer Winter

Autumn can slip between our fingers. It’s a transitional season, as we recognize the departure of summer and start prepping for winter’s arrival. Autumn is a beautiful season. Lots of colours with mother nature prepping trees for a winter sleep: leaves changing colour and then gently falling to the ground.

Visually, the contrast between summer and winter in the beach is stunning. But before sunny skies fill with snowfall, enjoy Autumn!
